About Us

Brandon is SEMIFIVE’s CEO and co-founder. After receiving his PhD in Computer Architecture from MIT, he joined Boston Consulting Group where he led strategy projects for global semiconductor corporations. Brandon also holds an SM in Computer Science from MIT and a BS in Electric Engineering from Seoul National University.

Steve spent over 23yrs at Samsung Electronics and ultimately became Executive Vice President of Samsung’s Semiconductor Division, System. LSI. Prior to his long tenure at Samsung, he held Engineering Management positions at IBM, Intel and other various US semiconductor companies. He received his B.S.E.E from Georgia Tech and M.S.E.E from University of Illinois at Chicago.

Simon Kim is the Executive Vice President of SEMIFIVE Inc, leading its PMO team responsible for project management as well as post-GDS work including package, ATE test, off-chip PSI, evaluation board, silicon characterization, qualification, and SCM.

Dr. Kim was previously Executive Vice President for Samsung Electronics Engineering team for over 20yrs. He received his Ph. D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, USA.

Jason Kim is Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at SEMIFIVE Inc., responsible for IR, M&A, subsidiary management, and corporate strategy planning. Prior to SEMIFIVE, Jason was a Project Leader of Boston Consulting Group, leading strategy projects for global ICT companies. He also holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA in Operations Research and Management Science from UC Berkeley.

Jin A. Lee is the Chief Technology Officer of SEMIFIVE Inc, responsible for IP partnership & sourcing, Platform SoC architecture design, advanced technology development for custom SoC design service and early-stage customer engagement.

Dr. Lee was the leader of multimedia IP development for Samsung Exynos Application Processor as an engineering VP and later served as the leader of AD Solution group at Hyundai Mobis. He received his Ph.D. in GPU H/W Acceleration from KAIST, Daejeon Korea.

Simon Lee is the Chief Financial Officer of SEMIFIVE Inc, responsible for SEMIFIVE’s HQ and global operations, pertaining to finance, accounting, and compliance related matters.

Prior to joining SEMIFIVE, Mr. Lee has held several executive level positions among the industry’s leading edge start-up companies, most recently, as CFO of Balancehero. He has 20 years of experience in finance working for Morgan Stanley, BNP Paribas, and ABN AMRO.Mr. Lee received his BBA from Grande École in Paris, France.

Patrick is Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing and as CMO at SEMIFIVE, Patrick is responsible for Sales Revenue, Business development, and marketing communication. Prior to SEMIFIVE, he spent over 26yrs at Samsung Foundry as a Sr. Marketing Director and Group Leader leading new business development and application marketing strategy. He also holds a MBA from Sung Kyun Kwan University.

Kelvin Low is the General Manager of SEMIFIVE US Inc, responsible for operations, business expansion, ecosystem partnerships and marketing. Mr. Low has held Executive Management positions at SMIC, Arm Inc, Samsung Foundry and GLOBALFOUNDRIES. He received his B.S.E.E. with First Class Honors from the National University of Singapore.
