조명현 세미파이브 대표 “재사용·자동화로 AI 반도체 설계 비용 확 줄였죠”
“더 많은 회사가 인공지능(AI) 전용 반도체를 직접 만들려고 할 겁니다. 기술력을 갖춘 회사들이 지금보다 적은 비용으로 차별화된 반도체를 개발할 수 있도록 기존 반도체 설계 방식을 근본적으로 바꿔가겠습니다.”
조명현 세미파이브 대표는 최근 한국경제신문과의 인터뷰에서 “자체 반도체를 개발하고 싶어 하는 회사들의 수요가 전 산업 영역에서 빠르게 늘어나고 있다”며 “반도체 설계에 필요한 기술 요소의 재사용과 자동화하는 플랫폼을 통해 설계 효율성을 크게 높일 수 있다”며 이같이 말했다.
